High toughness ballistic protection steel
Ramor® 500 is a high hardness ballistic protection steel available in thicknesses of 2-30 mm and hardnesses of 490-560 HBW.
Ramor® 500 is available as cut-to-length coil material in thicknesses of 2‑6.5 mm, and as sheet in thicknesses of 6‑30 mm. Delivered quenched, Ramor® 500 is not designed for further heat treatment.
